During your self-guided visit, students will participate in numerous interactive exhibits. Three of those will allow them to use their imagination to develop, package, and market a virtual ice cream flavor. Additionally, they will learn about the ice cream making process from raw ingredients to finished goods and how we market our top-selling ice cream and iced tea.
Students will also learn what it was like in the early days of Turkey Hill Dairy and how we grew from a small family-owned dairy farm into the national production facility we are today. While here, learn what it was like to be a milk delivery driver, milk our mechanical cows, and sample our products.
In our Turkey Hill Taste Lab, each student will bring their virtual flavor to life as our instructor walks them through the process step by step. Beginning with a basic white ice cream mix, students will add the proper amount of flavoring, variegate and other inclusions to develop their perfect recipe. Enjoy your ice cream creation while you settle in for a little course in Turkey Hill Ice Cream Production 101.

Accessibility
All of our restrooms and exhibits are accessible by wheelchair and all public floors can be reached by elevator.
Lunch
You may either bring a bagged lunch (we provide an area for you to relax and enjoy lunch) or order one of the meal options we have available for field trips. On-site meal options must be finalized at least two weeks in advance of your visit. Food vendors within walking distance include: Burger King and a convenience store, which has deli style sandwiches, and quick grab and go items.
Arrival Procedure
Upon arrival, buses should temporarily park at the designated Bus Drop Off area. Please have the teacher or leader come inside to the Guest Services desk while the others remain on the bus. Please do NOT have the students disembark until one of our representatives comes to the bus to greet them and explain the process. Please be prepared with your final counts and payment.
Bus Parking (after disembarkment)
Parking is free and located on the North side of Linden Street along the indented curb. For your convenience a bus drop off and pick-up is located adjacent to the Turkey Hill Experience Main Entrance.
Taste Lab
To ensure that all visitors have the best experience possible in our Taste Lab, we ask that you note the following:
- Taste Lab tickets are non-refundable
- Taste Lab is not allergen-free and does contain tree and ground nuts
- Strollers and recording devices are not permitted in the Taste Lab
